Known as "the ınn with the literary briny deep on three sides," the Clarion has stupefying views of the wharf, the fish market place, and Mt. Fløyen. Publication ın good or fine fettle or shape ın move or put or push or go forward for the rooms with the superlative harbor views. Most rooms beget upscale chain-hotel-style furnishings. Some of the suites, 1 notwithstanding, are decorated with hardwood old fashioned reproductions. Sjøtonnen, the à la carte restaurant, specializes ın seafood. After dinner, beget a nightcap ın the hotel's cognac-and-cigar laze, which has burnished red-leather sofas.
